Danny Carey, Technically Masterful And Diverse Drummer For Tool

Danny Carey has spent his music career making music with one of the most influential rock bands in the industry, Tool.  Carey has become an established name among drummer and non-drummer fans alike, for this technical mastery and diverse approach to drum beats.  As Carey explains in an interview with Vic Firth, he has had to adapt drum fills in odd time signatures to accentuate riffs from the guys in the band that were coming up with interesting odd time parts.  I shared the full interview Carey did with Vic Firth and a special drum duo performance for the Guitar Center Drum-Off competition in 2009 below.  I hope you enjoy the videos as much as I did!
