Dave Grohl is considered to be one of the best powerhouse drummers in rock music today due to his versatility, great attitude, and experience in the music industry.  Grohl first gained fame as the drummer for the band Nirvana with the iconic guitarist and songwriter, Kurt Cobain.  Then Grohl founded a rock group called the Foo Fighters, in which he produced his first album by himself playing all the instruments, and led the group as a front man on guitar and vocals to stardom.  Grohl has appeared on several other renowned projects including Tenacious D, Queens of the Stone Age, John Paul Jones and Jimmy Page, to name a few.  Most recently, Grohl co-founded the rock super group, Them Crooked Vultures, with Josh Homme of Queens of the Stone Age on guitar and lead vocals and John Paul Jones, former bass player for Led Zeppelin.  I put together a few videos that showcase Dave Grohl throughout his music career that I hope you will enjoy.

I found a cool fan video tribute to Dave Grohl that features performances throughout his career.  Plus, Kurt Cobain endorses Grohl as a good quality drummer and guy in the introduction.  Check it out at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WLTuqWpaUBw&feature=g-vrec.

I thought this next video was pretty fun.  Dave Grohl gives a shout out to DW drums on his own kind of endorsement video.  Check it out at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HOlk0DUGlPY.

Lastly, I decided to share a full performance video from Grohl’s current music project, Them Crooked Vultures.  This should give you a good idea of Grohl’s drumming and musicality.  Check it out at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P2XH5KrrPw8.

Dave Grohl has continued to make hit music with every project he touches and there’s no end in sight.  I think we should be very fortunate to have awesome musicians like Dave Grohl at the top making music.

Thanks!

Chris
