Behind The Scenes With Zildjian Cymbals

Zildjian cymbals are some of the best in the world!

Zildjian has been my first choice of cymbals for a long time.  I thought it would be fun to take a closer look at the Zildjian company and learn how cymbals are made and what sets this company apart from the rest.  This post is informative and entertaining because it offers a tour through the Zildjian factory and a few special demonstrations of their cymbals.  Take a look behind the scenes of Zildjian cymbals!

The first two videos consist of the Zildjian factory tour.  I found parts 2 and 3 on YouTube, but it seems like there isn’t a part 1 to choose from.  Regardless, it’s a very cool tour.  Check out the first part at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6I0wkZi_RWM.

The second video of the Zildjian factory tour is labeled here as part 3.  It’s a good wrap up to the factory tour and shows some of the great artists to use Zildjian cymbals.  Check it out at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f8wys7lIEHI&feature=related.

Steve Smith is a great and versatile drummer that played with the band, Journey, and is an avid studio drummer as well.  Smith endorses Zildjian cymbals in this next video at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h3jcoi3Nm_g.

Zildjian is one of the best cymbal companies in the world.  Their cymbals are used by many of the best drummers in the music industry.  In my opinion, the quality of the cymbals speaks for itself.  I hope you enjoyed this feature about Zildjian cymbals because I enjoyed making it for you.

Thanks,

Chris

  1. Awesome videos Chris thanks for the links! I just wanted to ask you for your opinion on Meinl cymbals. I like them much better than Zildjian cymbals but Zildjian’s still a great company. I play heavy metal, rock and hard rock styles and Meinl was able to suit my needs much better than Zildjian was but I would still like your opinion(s) on Meinl. Thanks again!
