Celebrating The Great Drummers Of KISS

Peter Criss, Eric Carr, and Eric Singer have contributed their own drumming styles to make KISS the super group it is today. Photo courtesy of Wikipedia.org

KISS has had three great drummers throughout the band’s career, all with their own personalities even though the makeup might be the same.  I thought I would collect a few videos that feature all three of the drummers in their elements, whether it’s behind the kit or talking about their histories playing with KISS.  The original drummer for the band, Peter Criss, was there when the band saw most of its fame, then Eric Carr and Eric Singer have both drummed with the band now.  KISS fans have chosen their own favorites, but I wanted to supply videos featuring all three of the drummers so you can throw in your own verdict.  I hope you enjoy the videos as much as I did!

The original drummer for the band was Peter Criss, who was in the band when it saw most of its original success.  Check him out in action at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DGk2sIA82g8.

Another drummer that has made his own impact on KISS and KISS fans has been Eric Carr.  Carr nails a live drum solo at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YOvAoDG9Z2o.

The last video I found features the third drummer for KISS, Eric Singer.  This video features Singer in an interview setting talking about his own music history with the band and his personal drumming experience.  Check it out at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bWHqH788sQg&feature=related.

KISS has seen success as one of the most successful American rock bands in music history, so drumming for the super group has some prowess behind it.  Peter Criss, Eric Carr and Eric Singer are all great drummers and have helped make KISS the super group it is today.  I hope you enjoyed the videos!

Thanks,

Chris
